Embodied trauma-based psychotherapy & wellness services

Hi, I’m Jackie! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Embodied Psychotherapist, and Registered Yoga Teacher.

Areas of Specialty:

  • PTSD & Complex PTSD

  • low self-esteem & shame

  • depression & anxiety

  • difficult relationship to your body & food

Treatment Philosophy & Approach

My approach is grounded in the understanding that trauma can settle in the body, and that healing engages many parts of you: mind, body, nervous system, heart, and spirit. I believe that an important piece of healing lies within your own inherent wisdom and connection to self.

Training & Experience

I have training in Internal Family Systems, Neuroaffective Relational Model, mindfulness, and somatic interventions. For the last 10 years, I provided therapeutic services in community mental health, hospital, and outpatient therapy settings. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a certification as a Registered Yoga Teacher with 200+ hours of training and 6+ years of teaching experience. I am happy to provide more detail about my training, professional experiences, and therapeutic approach - feel free to ask.

If you’re interested in starting therapy, let’s chat. I offer a free initial consultation to answer any questions you might have about my approach and how to get started.

“Finding your self is not really how it works. You aren’t a ten-dollar bill in last winter’s coat pocket. You are also not lost. Your true self is right there, buried under cultural conditioning, other people’s opinions, and inaccurate conclusions you drew as a kid that became your beliefs about who you are. “Finding yourself” is actually returning to yourself. An unlearning, an excavation, a remembering of who you were before the world got its hands on you.”
